Local customs & good to know
- Arrive Early for Parking — The small parking area fills quickly on weekends and summer days, so arrive by 9 AM or visit midweek for better access.
- Weather-Dependent Water Flow — Visit in spring (April-May) or after heavy rain for the most dramatic waterfall displays, as summer heat can reduce water volume significantly.
- Respect Forest Boundaries — Stay on marked trails to protect the delicate Jura forest ecosystem and preserve the natural habitat for local wildlife.
- Bring Proper Hiking Footwear — The terrain is rocky and often wet with mist; waterproof hiking boots with good grip are essential for safe navigation.
