Dzūkija National Park
Dzūkijos nacionalinis parkas

Local customs & good to know
- Respect protected villages — Zervynos and Marcinkonys are living ethnographic reserves, so photograph respectfully and stay off private farmsteads.
- Follow foraging rules — Gathering mushrooms and berries is allowed in forests but forbidden in the strict Čepkeliai reserve.
- Register at the visitor centre — Stop at the Marcinkonys visitor centre for maps, permits and canoe or camping information before heading out.
- Mind fire and quiet — Camp only at designated sites, keep noise low and avoid open fires in the tinder-dry pine forests.
