• Greet with 'Xin chao' and use both hands — When giving money, gifts, or receiving items from locals, use both hands as a sign of respect and politeness in Vietnamese culture.
• Visit early morning for best experience — Arrive at Tam Coc and Trang An before 8 AM to avoid crowds, enjoy mist over the landscape, and secure better boat arrangements with local guides.
